Phoenix Pro Model #379 Digital Clamp-On Multimeter Only $140.00
I have seen this meter selling for $150.00 on other sites. Everyone should have a Volt, Ohm, Amp probe, and capacitor tester if you are working with or around electricity. Yes, this meter will test capacitors! You can open the jaws of this meter, clamp the meter jaws around a wire and it will tell you how many amps the motor, compressor or part is using. You can use this meter to troubleshoot motors, compressors and parts. Compressors and motors have a FLA (full load amp) or RLA (Running Load Amp) rating. If your motor or compressor is running over or right at these ratings then you would know that the motor or compressor is having a problem. It is a necessity to have a good meter when troubleshooting heating & air conditioning systems. I wanted to offer you a great low cost meter that does a great job in the field. I found this meter at a bargain price. Below are features and pictures. This meter will help you stop guessing and help you determine if a part is bad. Capacitor Tester
Many times you can visually see that a capacitor is bad, but sometimes you need the help of capacitor tester. That is why we are offering this Supco Digital Capacitor tester for $85.00. Foil Duct Tape
Below is a picture of my favorite duct tape. This tape will stick to just about anything! Once it is stuck it is very hard to get off. No more hanging, loose duct tape after a couple of years! It is like sticking aluminum foil on your duct work! I use it for repairs around the house too! This tape is 3" wide and 50 yards long. It really makes anything look good with its chrome finish. Evaporator, Condensing Unit Fin Straightening Tools
Below are pictures of two of my favorite tools. Coil fin tools, or we sometimes refer to them as fin combs, are essential tools to have in every HVAC repair tool box. I use these tool almost everyday to straighten bent fins on air conditioner coils. I use this tool on outdoor condensing coils to straighten the fins back out so it does not reduce air flow through the condensing unit. Poor air flow would cause your outdoor unit to run high head pressure, thus decreasing the efficiency of your air conditioning system. It would also make your compressor run harder, use more electricity, not cool your home as well and possibly cause premature system failure. I also use this tool to clean indoor evaporator coils. If you have deep embedded dirt within the coil you can use this tool to get the dirt out. We had lots of hail damage several years ago here in Louisville, KY. I used this tool to straighten many of the damaged fins back out to normal. Below are pictures of two types of fin tools, with an opportunity for you to purchase at a low price of $12.00.

The Supco Model #FCR6 fin straightening tool has 6 fin combs with two fin comb sizes on each comb. This tools gives you 12 fin comb sizes to fit almost all air conditioning coils with fins that range from 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, & 20 fins per inch.

This is my favorite zoom spout oiler. With the flexible end, it allows you to get oil into those hard to reach areas. This oiler is great to use on oiling furnace blower motors and outdoor condenser fan motors. The Zoom spout oiler may be used to oil all appliances and electric motor bearings up to 5 horsepower! This is a great tool for clearing those stopped up Drain lines! The Gallo Gun uses CO2 Pressure to blow the drain line out! This Gun must be used with the CO2 Cartridges Sold Below. Gun does not come with CO2 Cartridges.

One part that I see fail many times during the winter months is the pressure switch sensor tubing. The tubing connects to the pressure switch on one end and the hot draft inducer on the other end. The draft inducer gets real hot. The sensor tube end that is attached to the draft inducer will break or crack. When this happens the pressure switch can not sense that the vent is open, so the pressure switch stays open, and you do not get any furnace ignition. You might want to look at your pressure switch tubing to make sure the end attached to the draft inducer is not cracked or brittle. If your sensor tubing does look cracked or brittle then I would suggest purchasing the tubing we have for sale below. This is probably well more than enough tubing. It is 24 inches long.
Prevent Refrigerant Leaks With A

Problem #8- Air conditioner is freezing up. You see frost or ice on the suction line (black insulated line) Any areas that are not insulated are covered with ice. You are not getting hardly any air flow out of your registers. Your evaporator coil is iced up completely. Most of the time this is caused by being low on refrigerant charge. There are other causes such as:
1. Dirty air filter or some air flow restriction.
2. Dirty blower
3. Slow or dragging blower motor (might need a new capacitor).
4. Dirty stopped up Evaporator coil (Need to have HVAC tech clean coil)
5. Long Air conditioning run times. Setting thermostat below 72 degrees
with cool outside conditions.
6. A stuck contactor that keeps the outdoor unit running even when the
indoor blower is not running or when the thermostat is calling for
cooling. We sell contactors above.
Most of the time a freeze up condition is caused by a low refrigerant charge. Since the air conditioning system is supposed to be a leak free, sealed system this means you have a leak somewhere. I use the Schrader valve caps sold below to make sure that I do not have a leak in the Schrader valves when I take my manifold gauges off. I install these Schrader caps for insurance, because I have seen leaks in these valves many times. These caps have a rubber seal inside of them and insure a leak proof seal.
